Hometown Care at VCA Lakeside Animal Hospital
At VCA Lakeside Animal Hospital we are very proud to offer a comprehensive level of services to care for your pet’s every need, every day. In addition to our high level of veterinary care, we also provide boarding and have a full retail pet store, including fish, reptiles, pocket pets, birds and so much more. We make all of this available seven days a week, serving the greater Big Bear area including Baldwin Lake, Sugarloaf, Crestline, and Arrowbear.

Over the years, we have learned that “mountain life” means our hospital needs to be stocked with everything we need, since travel down the hill is not always an option. From our staff to our supplies, we have stocked the hospital with some exceptional tools. Our DVM staff are capable of managing basic preventive care to advanced orthopedics and trauma. We have a complete range of diagnostics tools that allow us to run most tests in-house, including a state-of-the-art ultrasound machine, dental radiography and much more. And while a wide range of services are important, what’s more important is that our clients trust us. We take our time with each patient, explain the options, and help you find the management plan that is right for you and your furry friend. Our goal is to develop a relationship with our clients based on trust. We realize you have many options when it comes to veterinary care. We feel confident that once you experience care at our hospital, you will trust us with your pet for the rest of its life. After all, that’s what we have been doing for over 30 years. Call us today, we will be happy to answer any questions you may have.
