Dr. Pearson is one of the hospital's associate veterinarians. She enjoys soft tissue and dental surgeries as well as building relationships with clients through one on one appointments. Since she was a young girl, she knew this was the career path for her as she always felt a strong bond with all species of animals. When she was 16, she started as a kennel assistant before earning her Bachelor of Science degree at Purdue. During her undergraduate years, she decided to do a study abroad program in New Zealand and decided to apply to the vet school there. After earning her veterinary degree in 2009, she moved back to her home state of Indiana where she has practiced at several different general practice clinics. In her spare time, Dr. Pearson enjoys powerlifting, creating art projects, helping rescues and farm sanctuaries and seeking out vegan restaurants. Her family includes her husband of 9 years, Chad, and four, joyous, silly and lovely rescued English Bulldogs named Bernard, Wendall, Haywood and Oswald, who are her beloved children.
