Dr. Patel joined VCA Animal Hospitals in June 2024. Originally from New Jersey, Dr. Patel has spent the last 12 years in Australia. Dr. Patel loves the vast array of veterinary medicine but really loves seeing a positive result come from treating a patient, whether the case is simple or complex. Hearing the words "they are like a new dog" or "they are acting like a puppy/kitten gain" gives her great joy.

Dr. Patel has a special interest in musculoskeletal diseases and is a Certified Rehabilitation Practitioner. In addition she genuinely enjoys surgical cases and regenerative medicine.

Venturing back to the United States to be closer to family, Dr. Patel is excited to be in the Pacific North West Community where she can build new relationships with clients and patients.

When not working, Dr. Patel enjoys of hiking, rock climbing, kayaking, eating good food, and reading.
