Dr. Dukes grew up in Northern California in the foothills of Lake Tahoe. She got her Bachelor of Science in Biology from Saint Mary's College of California and her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from University of California, Davis School of Veterinary Medicine. She is extremely passionate about medicine has a particular interest in surgery and internal medicine.

Outside of work, Dr. Dukes enjoys running, camping, hiking, and spending time with all six of her animals.
