Dr. Michelle Annese received her DVM from Iowa State University in 2001. Immediately after graduation she completed an internship in Maryland at VCA Veterinary Referral Associates. She became an associate veterinarian at a small animal practice in Northern Virginia from 2001 to 2005. Dr. Annese and her husband moved back to their home state of New Jersey in 2005, and she began working at Madison Animal Hospital. She enjoys all aspects of veterinary medicine. She has four children, a daughter and three sons, that keep life very interesting. Her furry kids are a dog named Monkey(named by the children of course) and a cat named Weebles.
