Dr. Belinette Morales-Castro was raised in the vibrant landscapes of Puerto Rico. She has always had a deep-rooted passion for animals. She earned her bachelor's degree in animal science from the University of Puerto Rico, Mayagüez, before pursuing her dream of becoming a veterinarian at Universidad Pedro Henriquez Ureña in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. With a commitment to compassionate care, Dr. Morales has been dedicated to animal welfare from an early age. Her journey in veterinary medicine began even before she received her doctoral degree. She worked as a veterinary assistant and technician, developing a keen interest in fear-free handling and feline medicine. In addition to her clinical work, Dr. Morales has actively participated in spay and neuter clinics in Puerto Rico, a cause close to her heart that underscores her commitment to responsible pet ownership and population control.
Dr. Morales is bilingual in English and Spanish, and enjoys connecting with clients from diverse backgrounds. Outside of her professional endeavors, she cherishes traveling, spending time at the beach, painting, reading, and learning French. At home, she shares her life with her husband and her beloved cat, Milo, who brings joy and inspiration to her everyday life.
