Dr. Emily McManus graduated from the University of Georgia College of Veterinary Medicine in 2016. Originally from Canton, GA, she now resides in Alpharetta with her husband, Patrick, son Feygan (Fey), and their cat, Mr. Remington. Dr. McManus earned her undergraduate degree in biochemistry from the Georgia Institute of Technology, where she participated in biochemical research. She continued her research involvement during veterinary school, developing special interests in feline medicine, surgery, dentistry, and complex medical case workups. What Dr. McManus finds most fulfilling about veterinary medicine are the staff and client relationships she builds, finding the right diagnosis for complicated clinical presentations, and watching her patients leave feeling better than when they arrived – not to mention getting to know and play with the best cats and dogs around! In her spare time, she enjoys staying active, live music, hiking, camping, and spending quality time with her boys. Dr. McManus wanted to be a veterinarian since she was 6 years old and is honored to get to do this job every day with the team she loves.
