Lisa has lived in Colorado since 1999. She started training and competing with dogs when she was 16 years old. This love of working with dogs led her into becoming a veterinary technician. Lisa graduated from the Bel-Rea Institute of Animal Technology in 2009. She has worked at many types of clinics including non-profits, general practice, mixed animal practice and specialty practices. 

She is currently owned by 4 dogs—2 border collies, Swerve and Hoot, and 2 border collie and whippet mixes, Amaze and Crave. Lisa actively competes in flyball with her dogs and Amaze is currently one of the fastest flyball dogs in the world!
