Sandra was born and raised in Bogota, Colombia and moved to Phoenix, Arizona 12 years ago where she attended college and received her associate's degree in Agribusiness and Veterinary Technology. She worked as a Veterinary Technician in Phoenix until she moved to South Florida in 2015 and has been working for VCA since. 

Sandra grew up with a family that loves and respects animals. Her father was a veterinarian in Colombia, therefore, the reason for her passion and her career in  helping animals. Sandra lives with her fiance and their fur-baby handsome-cat Jon Snow. In her free time, she enjoys being outdoors, traveling, dancing, eating and being with her family and friends.
