Dr. Amy Keehner is a native Idahoan born in Boise and raised in Emmett. She attended the University of Idaho where she completed her Bachelor of Science degree in Wildlife Resources and Master of Science degree in Animal Science. She lived with her husband on the island of St. Kitts where she attended Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine where she graduated in 2018. She completed her clinical year at Oregon State University. Throughout her career she has developed a strong love for the study and practice of internal medicine of small companion animals.
She met her husband Jon during his PhD research on mountain lions in 2007. Her hobbies include playing in the dirt, gardening, reading fantasy books, and keeping track of her five cats and husband.
