LOS ANGELES – Jan. 24, 2019 - VCA Animal Hospitals has committed to helping federal employees with pets obtain continued access to veterinary care, despite not receiving their paychecks. Flexible payment options for federal employees with government identification are being made available at over 700 VCA Animal Hospitals in the United States until the shutdown is over.
“Our priority is to make sure as many pets as possible receive the health care they need,” said Doug Drew, VCA President Animal Hospitals & Petcare Services. “Any affected federal employee whose pet needs veterinary care will be provided flexible payment terms for VCA services so that they are assured their pet's veterinary needs can be taken care of during this time,” he added.
VCA continues its ongoing commitment to offer assistance to pet owners during disasters and emergencies, with animal hospitals and VCA Charities working together. To locate a nearby VCA Animal Hospital, click here.
