Dr. Rosanne Brown graduated from Colorado State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 1984. She owned Rancho San Diego Animal Hospital from 1988 until joining the VCA family in 2022. Dr. Brown has worked closely in the community with local organizations like Schnauzer Rescue, Feral Cat Coalition, House Rabbit Society and San Diego Turtle and Tortoise Society. She has had additional training in multiple areas of veterinary medicine and regularly attends conferences and lectures to continuously further her knowledge. Vanessa worked as a meat cutter's assistant at a local grocery store for over 8 years before starting her career in the veterinary field. Vanessa came to VCA Rancho San Diego first as a client with her pet rabbits and then as an intern through San Diego Mesa College. After graduating in June of 2007 with an Associate's Degree in Animal Health Technology, she officially joined the VCA Rancho San Diego family and that fall became a Registered Veterinary Technician.
