Dr. Heidel grew up in Brooklyn, NY, and earned her degree in veterinary medicine from St. George's University in Grenada, West Indies. She completed her year of clinical training at the University of Tennessee. Dr. Heidel is interested in small animal emergency and soft tissue surgery but has a soft spot for cows and small ruminants. Outside of work, Dr. Heidel enjoys hiking and discovering new music.
