Malia is a graduate of Washington State University, where she earned her bachelor's degree in Animal Science. Growing up surrounded by animals, she developed a passion early on for their health and well-being—and that passion shows in the care she provides every day.
Outside of the hospital, Malia enjoys fishing, camping, and hiking, often accompanied by her two Shih Tzus, Somi and Suki. She is currently continuing her education through Penn Foster as she works toward becoming a licensed veterinary technician.
