Grace Liu, DVM (she/her), is a veterinarian at VCA Sacramento Veterinary Referral Center. She earned her undergraduate degree from UC Berkeley, where she completed a double major in Molecular Environmental Biology and Nutritional Science and Metabolism in 2021. She went on to earn her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from UC Davis in 2026.
Originally from Fremont, California, Dr. Liu has a special interest in internal medicine, with a focus on nephrology and urology, as well as feline medicine and nutrition. During veterinary school, she volunteered at multiple community clinics, where she gained experience providing care to a variety of patients and developed a deeper appreciation for the importance of accessible, compassionate veterinary care. These experiences strengthened her passion for feline health and her commitment to supporting pets and the families who care for them.
Outside of work, Dr. Liu enjoys cooking, exploring new restaurants and cafes, visiting Disney parks, and relaxing with her favorite shows and music. She shares her home with Remi, Luka, and Carmen, three cats who became foster fails during veterinary school, as well as Raya, a retired ophthalmology research Beagle.
