Andrea Neidhardt, DVM is a veterinarian at VCA Sacramento Veterinary Referral Center. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Animal Science from UC Davis in 2017 before completing her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine at Western University of Health Sciences in 2026. Before veterinary school, Dr. Neidhardt spent five years working as a certified veterinary assistant in small animal general practice and rehabilitation, experiences that helped shape her compassionate, team-oriented approach to patient care.
Originally from Pleasant Grove, California, Dr. Neidhardt is passionate about building lasting relationships with pets and the people who love them. She enjoys helping clients understand their pet's health and believes that trust and communication are the foundation of exceptional veterinary care. While she has interests in surgery, diagnostic imaging, cardiology, emergency medicine, and zoo and exotic animal medicine, she plans to pursue a career in small animal general practice, where she can care for patients throughout every stage of their lives.
Outside of work, Dr. Neidhardt enjoys traveling, hiking, spending time at the beach, and relaxing with family and friends. She's also a proud Disney fan and Swiftie who loves visiting Disney parks whenever she can. At home, she's kept company by Stirling, her affectionate Vizsla and devoted "velcro dog."
