Dr. Kate Carter grew up in San Jose, California, and earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of California, Santa Cruz. She completed her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree in 2019 at the University of California, Davis, School of Veterinary Medicine.
Dr. Carter enjoys being a general practice veterinarian because it allows her to see a wide variety of cases. She is committed to reducing patient stress in the clinic by utilizing fear-free techniques. She values collaborating with clients to provide the highest-quality medicine possible for their pets.
Outside of work, Dr. Carter stays busy with her family, which includes two cats and five chickens. She enjoys knitting, sewing, and gardening in her spare time.
