Dr. Carter grew up in San Jose, CA, and earned an undergraduate degree in Biology at UC Santa Cruz. She graduated with her DVM in 2019 from the UC Davis School of Veterinary Medicine. She enjoys being a general practice veterinarian because it allows her to see a wide variety of cases. She is committed to reducing patient stress in the clinic by utilizing fear-free techniques. She values being able to collaborate with clients to provide the highest quality medicine possible to their pets.

Dr. Carter stays busy with her husband, son, Standard Poodle, two cats and five chickens. She enjoys knitting, sewing and gardening in her spare time.
