Alison Flint completed a bachelor of science in forensic science in 2015 and an honours bachelor of science in biology in 2016, both from Trent University in Peterborough Ontario. She then traveled oversees to Edinburgh, Scotland where she completed her bachelor of veterinary medicine and surgery in 2020. After earning her degree she spent a year working as an emergency veterinarian in Barrie, Ontario prior to moving to Calgary, Alberta to complete a small animal rotating internship at the Calgary Animal Referral and Emergency Centre.

Dr. Flint's now interested in pursuing a Neurology career and joins VCA Shoreline as a Neurology Intern. In her spare time she can be found spending time with her cat Bonnie and dog Bridgette, going to the movies, or at the gym.
