Dana Neiman
Veterinarian Specialist - Internal Medicine DVM, DACVIM (SAIM)

Dr. Neiman is a native of Westchester County, NY. She attended Cornell University where she received a B.S. in Animal Science before obtaining her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Minnesota. Following veterinary school, she continued her training with an internship at The Animal Medical Center in New York City. Dr. Neiman returned to Minnesota to practice emergency medicine before completing a residency in small animal internal medicine at VCA West Los Angeles Animal Hospital and achieving board certification. Following her residency, she moved to Northern Virginia where she practiced as an internal medicine specialist for four years before returning to the Northeast.    

Dr. Neiman’s professional interests include management of immune-mediated disease, endoscopic procedures, and ultrasonography. She enjoys developing long-term relationships with her clients and patients and focuses on creating an optimized care team that involves primary care veterinarians and other specialists. Dr. Neiman and her husband have two daughters as well as two dogs—Pippa, a cuddly rescue pup, and Cosmo, a goofy standard poodle. In her downtime, Dr. Neiman enjoys spending time with family and friends, exercising, and art.
