Danelle Provost
Staff Veterinarian DVM
Dr. Danelle Provost has always had a strong interest in animals. Initially gaining a bachelor degree in Horse Farm Management and Riding instruction from Johnson and Wales University. After managing a private show facility she decided to change careers, still sticking with animals, and became a small animal veterinary technician. After working in the veterinary field and loving it, she decided take the next step. She received her post-bachelor degree in science form Central CT State University and then went on to graduate from Midwestern University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2018. She completed a small animal rotating internship as VCA Veterinary Care Animal Hospital and Referral Center in Albuquerque, NM, then decided to come back to CT to be closer to family and pursue her interest in Emergency medicine.

Dr. Provost's professional interests include toxicology, diagnostic imaging, dentistry and shelter medicine. Outside of work Dr. Provost enjoys hiking, kayaking and going to the beach. She shares her home with her husband Dave, their dog Luna and three cats, Wink, Taz and Monkey.
