Dr. Christine Asaro is a 2000 graduate of the Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine. She has worked at multiple VCA hospitals throughout her career and recently returned to the role of medical director at both Staten Island Animal Hospital and South Shore Animal Hospital. Dr. Asaro is originally from Long Island and is a current member of the AVMA, NYSVMS and LIVMA organizations. Her main focus is on small animal medicine and surgery, with experience in high-volume spay/neuter, and elective and non-elective procedures.
Dr. Asaro has two rescued cats named Marlin and Violet. She enjoys gardening, cooking and spending time with her family and friends.
