Dr. Walters graduated from the University of Georgia College of Veterinary Medicine in 2008. She moved to the Triangle following graduation and started her Veterinary career right here at  VCA Timberlyne  and after a few years of being at our sister hospital she is back. Dr. Walters is dedicated to partnering with pet owners to care for their pets throughout their lives. She has special interests in internal medicine, pain management, soft tissue surgery, and rehab. She became a Certified Veterinary Acupuncturist in 2018 and a Certified Canine Rehabilitation Therapist in 2022. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family, birding, running with her dog, and working in the garden.
