Karime joined our team as a veterinary assistant in August 2026. She graduated with her high school diploma and completed the Pima JTED Veterinary Assistant Program and the Veterinary Assistant Program at Pima Medical Institute.
Originally born in Sacramento, California, Karime has called Tucson home since 2011. Outside of work, she enjoys reading and spending time with her three dogs: Neo, a 7-year-old poodle mix; Andy, an 11-year-old terrier mix; and Gyro, a 4-year-old pit bull.
What Karime enjoys most about working in veterinary medicine is meeting new furry friends and being able to help each patient to the best of her ability. She is passionate about providing compassionate care and looks forward to continuing to grow her skills and knowledge as a veterinary assistant.
