Alyssa Meyer graduated from Portland State University in 2008 with a Bachelor of Arts in Marketing and from Oregon Health & Science University in 2013 with a Master of Business Administration in Health Care Management.
Alyssa started working in health care as a Certified Nursing Assistant at nursing homes before joining the Portland VA hospital caring for our Veterans on a medical/surgical ward for six years before moving to the administrative side of hospital operations for the last 12 years. In her most recent role, she was the Group Practice Manager overseeing outpatient and ambulatory care access for a large health care system.
Alyssa specializes in strategic planning, project management, and policy. Alyssa joined VCA Veterinary Care Animal Hospital and Referral Center in 2022.
