Dr. Jessica Hammer is from the Valley of the Sun in Phoenix, Arizona and has been in the veterinary field for over a decade. After graduating from Arizona State University with a B.A. in Spanish Literature and a B.S. in Biology she moved cross-country to attend veterinary school in Massachusetts at Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine at Tufts University. Some of her passions include animal behavior and forming strong human-animal bonds, managing immune-mediated diseases, and advocating preventative medicine. In her free time she spends as much time as possible outdoors hiking, camping, and exploring Southern California with her partner and their Siberian Husky, Mila.
