Dr. Alexandria Leanders is a dedicated and compassionate veterinarian who believes deeply in the healing power of the human-animal bond. She earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine with honors from St. George's University in 2025 and completed her clinical training at the University of Pennsylvania. Her academic journey began with a degree in biological science and microbiology from CSU Fullerton.
Dr. Leanders brings both expertise and empathy to each patient she sees. She is Fear Free Certified, ensuring that every visit is as low-stress and comforting as possible for both pets and their families.
Outside the hospital, Dr. Leanders volunteers with wildlife organizations, and she's also a proud bird mom to two parrots—Holly, a 27-year-old Hahn's Macaw, and Rupert, a 5-year-old Wild Amazon.
When she's not caring for animals, you'll find her enjoying the outdoors, practicing yoga, playing music, or creating art—all ways she recharges and stays inspired to give her best to her patients.
