Hello everyone! My name is Gerardo, but everyone calls me Jerry. As a child I always knew that I wanted to be part of the Veterinary Field and it wasn't until I began my college career that I decided to apply for the Veterinary Technician Program at Cosumnes River College. While attending school I worked as a Veterinary Assistant in a clinic that treated Large, Small, and Exotic animals with Western and Eastern Medicine. As I was finishing my degree I came to All Our Pets and became a Registered Veterinary Technician where I immediately fell in love with my doctors, co-workers, and clients/patients. After a year and a half, I had the opportunity to join the UC Davis Orthopedic Surgery Team at The Veterinary Medicine Teaching Hospital serving as a Surgical Technician and Veterinary Student Aid. After some time I realized that my heart was always at VCA All Our Pets, so I decided to return. I am now a RVT and the Lead Surgical Technician here with an interest in Veterinary Dentistry. My future plans include to further my education in Veterinary Dentistry and to one day get specialized in it. When I'm not at the hospital I'm caring for my Dachshund, Bree, or going on Disney Adventures with my partner.
