Dr. Tam was born and raised in Hong Kong. Shortly after moving to California in 2000, she started developing her interest in working with animals. Dr. Tam earned her B.S. in Animal Science in 2006 and her DVM degree in 2013 from UC Davis. In the past year, Dr. Tam underwent a year of internship at Veterinary Medical & Surgical Group in Ventura, where she worked very closely with the internists, surgeons, and critical care specialists. Her area of interest includes internal medicine and soft tissue surgery. In addition, she also has experience working with rabbits, guinea pigs, and reptiles.

In her spare time, Dr. Tam enjoys hiking, reading, swimming, and cooking. Dr. Tam has three lovely cats named Little Fish, Goose, and MoMo.
