Alysha is a veterinary assistant who joined our team at VCA Andover Animal Hospital in August 2026. Her passion for veterinary medicine began in 2019 in Clarksville, Tennessee, where she worked as a technician in a mixed animal practice that provided emergency and specialty care. During her time there, Alysha had the exciting opportunity to work with a variety of exotic animals, including monkeys, foxes, birds, snakes, as well as cattle and large-breed cats.
Her special interests in veterinary medicine include surgery, emergency and intensive care, and nutrition.
In her personal time, Alysha enjoys reading, drawing, working on projects, and spending time with her family, which includes her young daughter who runs the house! Alysha is also the proud owner of three pets: Apollo (an Akita), Ares (a mixed breed), and Karma (a Belgian Malinois).
