Dr. Aluise is a Kansas native, having been born and raised in Derby. He graduated from Kansas State University’s School of Veterinary Medicine, and shortly thereafter went into private practice in Colorado. Though he enjoyed his time in the Rockies, Dr. Aluise and his family — which includes his wife, Bernadette, sons Sawyer and Fynn, one Chihuahua named Sheera, three guppies and two African Dwarf Frogs — are very excited to be returning to their Kansas roots. They look forward to meeting all of you and becoming part of the wonderful Andover community.
When he’s not at the clinic, you’ll likely find Dr. Aluise outdoors either fishing at the Air Force Academy fishing ponds, Spinney Mountain Reservoir or Eleven Mile Canyon, hunting in the woods, or tearing up the soccer fields with his two boys. Dr. Aluise has special interests in veterinary dentistry and internal medicine. He is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association as well as the Kansas Veterinary Medical Association, where he regularly participates in continuing education to expand his knowledge of veterinary medicine. You will appreciate his passion for and dedication to your pets.
