Lindsey is a veterinary assistant at VCA Animal Healing Center in Langhorne, PA, where she supports patient care, assists during appointments, and helps ensure pets and their families feel comfortable and informed throughout their visit. With a thoughtful and compassionate approach, Lindsey plays an important role in creating a supportive experience for both pets and their owners.
She began her career working with animals as a dog bather before transitioning into veterinary medicine. That early hands-on experience strengthened her passion for animal care and inspired her to pursue a deeper role in supporting pet health. Lindsey is currently a veterinary technician student and continues to expand her knowledge and medical skills as she grows within the field.
“A little compassion and understanding can make all the difference. When pets and their families feel supported, it creates a better experience and better care for everyone involved.”
Within the hospital, Lindsey has a strong interest in client education and enjoys helping pet families throughout the Bucks County community feel more confident caring for their pets at home. She believes that taking time to clearly explain medical information helps pet owners feel more confident and better prepared to care for their pets at home. By breaking down complex terminology and answering questions with patience and clarity, she helps strengthen the partnership between veterinary teams and the families they serve.
Looking ahead, Lindsey plans to pursue Fear Free and Pet Nutrition certifications so she can continue supporting calm, low-stress visits and wellness-focused care. Her goal is always to help pets feel safe while helping owners feel confident in the care their pets receive.
“Client education and kindness go hand in hand. Taking a few extra moments to explain care can make a meaningful difference for pets and their families.”
Lindsey finds deep fulfillment in advocating for animals and supporting their well-being. She approaches every patient with empathy, treating each pet as if it were her own and each client with the same understanding she would hope to receive.
