BS in Animal Science and DVM from Cornell University in 1991. Finished IVAS acupuncture certification course.

Dr. Marx enjoys spending time with her husband Jim who is also a vet at Univ. of Penn, her 2 sons, Ben and Dan, and 2 dogs Bailey and Grid.

"Veterinary medicine has always been a passion of mine even from the time I was very young. Being with small mammals brings me incredible joy. Alternative medicine was the icing on the cake after having a Golden Retriever, Miami, live an extra year with the help of acupuncture.
