Dr. Benjamin Ulrich was born in Illinois and later moved to Arizona for high school and to attend Arizona State University. He graduated from Arizona State University in 2014 with a bachelor's degree, after which he went to Oregon State University and earned his Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Ulrich completed his rotating internship at VCA ARECA between 2018 and 2019, after which he joined the hospital as an emergency clinician. He enjoys working in emergency medicine due to its fast-paced and unpredictable nature and he's particularly interested in managing cases involving wound care, toxicity, and cardiac issues. In his spare time, Dr. Ulrich likes to hang out with his son, bike, swim, go to the gym and movies, and watch the Chicago Cubs.
