Dr. Melissa Moyer is professionally interested in the large variety of challenging cases seen in Internal Medicine. She particularly enjoys the areas of feline medicine and infectious and immune mediated diseases, as well as endocrine diseases.
Dr. Moyer graduated from veterinary school at the University of Florida in 2008. She then went on to complete a one year small animal rotating internship at North Carolina State University. Following her passion for internal medicine she completed a 3-year residency program at Texas A&M University in 2012. She has been with VCA ARECA since 2012. In her free time, she enjoys hiking with her husband and spending time with their two dogs.
