Jackie started her veterinary medicine career in Nashville, TN in 1995. She moved to Redding and started to work as technician supervisor at VCA Asher Animal Hospital in 2003. In 2008 she was licensed as a registered veterinary technician, and in 2011 began working as one of our two overnight emergency technicians. Her interests are emergency, critical care, surgery, and wound management. When she is not working, Jackie enjoys riding and training horses, raising orphaned lambs, and traveling the world. She also volunteers her spare time as a member of Shasta County's Mounted Search and Rescue Posse. Her four-legged family includes eight horses, three llamas, 18 sheep, three dogs, and one very spoiled cat.
