Melisa is originally from Napa, and relocated to Redding in 2004. She graduated from Shasta College with an Associate in Veterinary Technology. Melisa joined VCA Asher Animal Hospital in 2008 and became a Registered Veterinary Technician in 2014. For Melisa, the best part of working in a veterinary hospital is being able to provide care to animals. It is really rewarding to be involved in caring for pets that are sick or injured and see them through the process of getting well again and returning them to their family happy and healthy. Melisa enjoys spending time with her family, which includes her husband and three girls and her pets. She has three dogs, Copper, Lexi, and Pooka, and two cats, Rosco and Pearl, and a gecko named Boo. When she can fit time in, she also likes to scrapbook.
