Dr. Katherine Leger is an alumnus of Louisiana State University's School of Veterinary Medicine. Katie practiced veterinary medicine in south Louisiana for several years before moving to the St. Louis area with her husband and two Shih Tzu dogs. She is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association and the Missouri Veterinary Medical Association. 

In her free time, Katie enjoys cooking, reading, and traveling. Katie is very excited to join the team at VCA Bal-Coeur.
