Dr. Louisa Bynum grew up in Davis, CA, and always loved animals. She went to college at Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo, then returned to Davis for veterinary school. She then worked in Santa Cruz before settling in the Oakland area. She and her husband are working on raising her three children. Her family also includes two golden retrievers, several cats, and one red-footed tortoise. In her free time, Dr. Bynum is an avid road and mountain biker.
