Dr. Nauert is an Austin native. She started shadowing at VCA Ben White when she was a junior in high school. She then attended Texas A&M for undergraduate and veterinary school. After graduating Dr. Nauert completed a rotating internship at a large specialty hospital in Aurora, Illinois.

Dr. Nauert's professional interests include feline medicine, canine and feline preventative care and nutrition. She strives to provide a fear free environment to make veterinary visits as enjoyable as possible for all involved.

One of Dr. Nauert's favorite activities is taking her cat Sugar on leash walks outside. She also enjoys traveling and has participated in several international veterinary mission trips.
