Vanessa Stone, a California native originally from San Diego, brings a deep passion for animal care and team leadership to her role as hospital manager at VCA Benicia Animal Hospital. She earned her bachelor's degree in animal science from Chico State University, laying the foundation for a career dedicated to veterinary support and client service.
Vanessa joined VCA in 2018, initially working as a relief client service representative across multiple hospitals while also focusing on growing her family. In 2024, she returned to VCA in a leadership capacity, taking on the role of hospital manager at VCA Benicia.
Outside of work, Vanessa enjoys spending time with her husband and their three sons. Her family also includes two beloved dogs, Mia and Gracie. Vanessa finds the most fulfillment in creating a welcoming and supportive environment for both clients and their pets. She is inspired daily by the compassion and dedication of those who work in the veterinary field, saying, "People in this field have big hearts for animals, and it's amazing to see that in action."
