McKenzie has over three years of experience in veterinary medicine and more than a decade in the pet care industry. She holds a BS in parks and recreation management and an AS in social sciences. Before joining VCA, she worked at an urgent care and veterinary hospital in the Virginia Beach area.
She shares her home with her dog, Luca. Outside of work, McKenzie enjoys concerts, reading, hiking, and puzzles. She loves being part of helping patients heal and hopes to continue growing her technical skills and eventually work with wildlife.
