Dr. McCormick was born and raised in Buffalo, New York. She completed her Bachelor’s in Biology and Master’s in Psychology at Medaille College. She worked as a licensed veterinary technician at VCA Blue Cross Animal Hospital of Amherst for 3 years before pursuing her lifetime dream of becoming a veterinarian. She graduated from University of Florida College of Veterinary Medicine in 2012. Dr. McCormick is proud to return to VCA Blue Cross Animal Hospital of Amherst team where she enjoys the support of her colleagues. When not working she’s subjecting her husband to new recipes off Pinterest, or keeping up with their young children.
