Dr. Sarah Funk was born and raised in Upstate New York and joined Blue Cross Animal Hospital in 2016. She graduated from Allegheny College with a degree in biology in 2008, received her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from the University of Illinois in 2014, and completed a small animal medicine and surgery rotating internship in Rochester, NY in 2015. Outside of work Dr. Funk enjoys hiking, traveling, and spending time with her husband and twin sons. She and her husband have two dogs (Bo and Millie), a cat (Gracie), and a geriatric horse named Bandit.
