Daniel Sintov
Staff Veterinarian DVM

Dr. Sintov was born near Chicago, Illinois, and grew up in Orange County, California. He received a BA from UCLA in Economics with a minor in Accounting. After deciding to switch gears, he attended Los Angeles Pierce College and UCLA to complete pre-veterinary coursework.

Dr. Sintov attended the UC Davis School of Veterinary Medicine where he assisted in research that led to several publications in the field of veterinary cardiology. After veterinary school, Dr. Sintov completed a 1-year rotating rotating internship in medicine, surgery, and emergency/critical care here at VCA California Veterinary Specialists in Ontario. He has stayed on as a member of our emergency and critical care team since.

Clinically, Dr. Sintov enjoys emergency soft tissue surgeries, diagnosis and treatment of arrhythmias and congestive heart failure, treatment of septic patients, and treating patients with multiple traumatic injuries. In his free time, he enjoys caring for hundreds of plants in his garden(which is always growing), building Lego, watching football and basketball, and spending time caring for his 16 year-old pit bull, Oscar.
