Kinzy Mayberry has been working in veterinary medicine for over eight years. She started working at VCA in March of 2022, and before that spent four years at another animal hospital gaining experience and growing her passion for the field. In 2025, Kinzy became the lead surgery technician at VCA, which has been an exciting step forward in her career. In the future, she would love to increase her knowledge and skills in veterinary medicine as much as possible.
In December of 2025, she completed the final semester of her associate's degree, and looks forward to finishing her final externship and being able to take the VTNE to become a licensed veterinary technician (LVT). Kinzy's love for veterinary medicine started when she was very young, watching Steve Irwin and being inspired by his passion for animals and wildlife. Ever since then, she has known she wanted to work in a field where she could care for animals. She enjoys working with all kinds of animals, but has have a special interest in exotics.
Outside of work, she loves spending time with her family, crafting, and watching history shows. Her favorite colors are black and dark green. Kinzy also has two dogs that keep life interesting: Alexis, a husky who has a personality as big as her tummy, and Axel, her German shepherd who is scared of his own shadow.
