Shay was born and raised in Orange County, California, and had a strong desire to work with animals at the age of five. She grew up with a number of different animals, including cats, dogs, a hamster, and parakeets. Shay has been with VCA College Park - Ana Brook Animal Hospital since 2015, working her way from kennel attendant to technician supervisor. She attended Polytechnic University, Pomona, and graduated with a bachelor's degree in Animal Science. She then attended Penn Foster's Veterinary Technician program, where she obtained an associate's degree in Veterinary Technology. In 2023, Shay passed the VTNE and became a registered veterinary technician. When she isn't giving excellent care to the patients and clients at VCA College Park - Ana Brook, she enjoys reading and learning new skills, including dancing, embroidery, and gardening.
