Dr. Tradel Harris is excited to relocate back to Long Island from upstate - Ithaca, NY where she attended Cornell University Veterinary School and graduated in 2011.
Prior DVM experience includes mixed practice (large small and exotic animals) in New Jersey, and small animal, shelter medicine, and HQHVSN in New York.
Prior to veterinary school, she worked as a veterinary assistant and technician in general practice, various specialty and emergency hospitals and at a feline practice. In veterinary school, she was awarded a scholarship for feline medicine and holds a special fondness for cats.
Dr. Harris feels that pets are family members and prides herself on offering tailored individual care to each patient. Her veterinary interests include ophthalmology, geriatric and feline medicine and soft tissue surgery. She has published research articles on ear cytology and hip dysplasia. Her interests include the performing arts such as dance, outdoor activities, spending time with her partner Chris, kitty Penelope and getting together with her family.
