Dr. Bauman is the newest member of the VCA Cypress Creek team.
Dr. Bauman was born and raised in Pittsburgh, PA. He attended Gettysburg College before going to veterinary school at the University of Prince Edward Island Atlantic Veterinary College, graduating in 1998.
After graduation, he worked in a companion animal hospital in Norwich, Connecticut, for three years before becoming an emergency clinician for the next four years in Warwick, RI. In 2004, Dr. Bauman moved his family to Palm Bay, Florida, to join the VCA family and became the Medical Director of VCA Village Animal, and then became the Area Medical Director in the Mid-Atlantic Region.
Dr. Bauman is the proud father of three adult children and the grandfather of one very precocious 1-year-old. He shares his home with an antisocial tabby cat.
In his free time, Dr. Bauman enjoys biking, SCUBA diving, and martial arts.
Dr. Bauman has a special interest in endocrine diseases and enjoys dentistry.
