Talia, originally from Massachusetts, came to Vermont to attend the University of Vermont, where she is now a senior majoring in animal science and working towards becoming a veterinary technician. Having grown up with a bullmastiff named Moose and family friends' pets, she knew early on she wanted to work with animals. She currently has a pit bull mix named Lewie back home in Massachusetts, whom she misses very much. In her spare time, she enjoys hiking and skiing outdoors.
