Dr. Aguiar grew up in Mount Laurel, NJ, and earned her veterinary degree from the University of Pennsylvania in 2018. Before attending veterinary school, she obtained her B.S. in Biology from Lafayette College and a master’s degree in Laboratory Animal Science from Drexel University. After graduating from veterinary school, she moved to Chicago, where she practiced as an associate veterinarian and later as the medical director at a general practice for almost eight years. In the summer of 2026, she returned to South Jersey.
Dr. Aguiar holds Fear Free Certification, and her areas of special interest include internal medicine, dentistry, preventive medicine, and surgery.
Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her husband, daughter, and their two cats. Her hobbies include running, exercising, following Philadelphia sports, going to the beach, traveling, and listening to music.
